Brodhead Water & Light collects usage data from your electric meter with an AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) meter. All meter readings are transmitted electronically to a mobile collection point, then, downloaded to our billing software. Since we have a computerized meter reading system, all meter reads are read accurately the first time with no possibility of entry or human error.
